Who we are

Screenmotive is the data controller for this website and our orders. Contact: hello@screenmotive.app.

What we collect

• Brief form: your email, app name, App Store or TestFlight link, the link to your materials, what you write about your app, audience and style, and the campaign source you arrived from (if any).
• Materials: the recordings, screenshots, icons and brand files you share with us.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, amount and payment status. We never see or store your full card details.
• Email: the messages we exchange about your order.

What we don’t do

This site uses no advertising trackers and no cookies for analytics. We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t add you to marketing lists.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, to count visits in aggregate (for example pages viewed, referring sites, country and device type). It sets no cookies, doesn’t fingerprint you and doesn’t collect personal data. If you arrived through a link with a campaign tag (such as utm_source), that tag is kept in your browser tab’s session storage only, and is sent with your brief if you submit it, so we know which campaign brought you. It is cleared when you close the tab.

Chat assistant

If you use the chat assistant, your messages are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a reply. We don’t store chat messages, and the assistant is an AI that may make mistakes. Please don’t share personal or sensitive information in the chat.

Why we use it

To deliver the service you ordered (contract), to handle payments, refunds and accounting (legal obligation), and to answer your questions (legitimate interest).

Who processes it for us

• Stripe — payments
• Formspree — receiving the brief form and emailing it to us
• Cloudflare — website hosting and security
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregated visit statistics
• Cloudflare Workers AI — answering questions in the site’s chat assistant
• Cloudflare Email Routing and Google (Gmail) — receiving and answering email about your order
• Google Drive or Dropbox — delivering your files through a private shared folder

Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Your materials and working files are deleted within 90 days of the order being completed, unless you ask us to keep them for future updates. Order and payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires (currently five years in Norway).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, or your local supervisory authority.

Portfolio

We never show client work publicly without your explicit permission. We’ll ask you by email before we show your before and after or ask you for a short testimonial. It’s optional, doesn’t affect your price, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. If you say yes, the testimonial is your genuine opinion, in your own words. We won’t write it for you, and we’ll only shorten it with your OK.
